Registration

Information collected from Child
Jill Brown Associates will collect the following information from your child prior to setting up their account:
We collect first name, gender, date of birth, e-mail address (optional), and parent’s e-mail address for the processing of the registration. The child’s e-mail address will be kept in an encrypted file, which is not accessible to anyone. NEED TO CONFIRM THAT THIS IS THE CASE
Prior to receiving parental consent we will only use the e-mail address supplied by your child to respond one time to a direct request such as for password reset or other technical support issues.
Information Collected from parents and parental consent:
In order to activate your child’s account you will need to provide your name, address, e-mail address and date of birth. We will then require your consent. You can provide consent by several different methods:
1. Providing a credit card number for verification along with payment in the amount of .
2. Provide a consent form via fax or regular mail, which shall include a valid photo ID that has been issued by the government such as a driver’s license or a passport.
The information you provide will be used to verify your identity and the date of birth will be used to verify that you are over the age of 18. The e-mail address you provide will be used to link you to the registered child’s account and to send any applicable notices.
Parents are also required to create an account to provide consent in order to fully activate the child’s account. The parent account will not be created until their identity has been verified.
Until Jill Brown Associates, LLC has your consent and your identity has been verified the accounts of you and your child will not be fully activated and your child will not be able to have any contact with any other tsmylocker.com users since this could result in public disclosure of the child’s personal information to third parties on the internet such as posting on open message boards. This is the reason we require such a high level of verification to confirm that a parent has consented to a child’s participation in such features of the site. If a parent refuses to allow their child to register, Jill Brown Associates, LLC will delete the child’s information from the Itsmylocker.com website within hours. All content will then become accessible to you, your child and any friends of your child. IML will provide ways for you to monitor or approve all interaction of your child with other IML members NEED SPECIFICS HERE AS TO TOOLS WE WILL PROVIDE IN ORDER FOR PARENT TO MONITOR THE CHILDS INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEMBERS. SUCH AS SECURITY SETTINGS SO THAT THE PARENT CAN CONTROL AND MONITOR THEIR CHILD’S IML EXPERIENCE. WHAT IS THE ABILITY OF PARENT TO SHADOW THE CHILD’S ACTIVITIES?? EXAMPLE: PARENT WILL SEE ANY POSTS, BLOG ENTRIES, AND MESSAGES. THIS CAN BE OPTIONAL TO PARENT DOES NOT NEED TO BE AUTOMATIC. WE ALSO NEED TO LOOK AT OPTION OF ADULT INDICATOR ON SITE WHEN AN ADULT IS INTERACTING WITH THE CHILD.
Jill Brown Associates, LLC will allow itsmylocker.com members to provide non-member friends first names and e-mails so an invitation to join can be sent to them. These names and e-mails will not be stored and will immediately be deleted after the invitation is sent to the non-member.
Jill Brown Associates. LLC passively tracks to activity of users accessing our site in order to provide other products and services. This information may include IP addresses of users, page views, unique visitors and repeat visitors. This data does not correspond to any personal information that is identifiable.
